Failures Also Go on the Wall

No wonder mommy always says ‘When you buy shoes, always walk around the shop twice before buying them.’ Dad says: ‘When you buy a book, read random pages rather than the description at the back.’ In that case, my little experiment with the textile paint turned out to be nothing more than shoes that give you pain and a dull book with a beautiful cover.

After drying out in the sun, the pieces of Coolmax and lycra I experimented with started looking uneven and, what is more, they felt horribly hard because of the paint they were soaked with.
After washing them, the paint started to come off and created weird but pretty designs on the rough fabric, which I kind of enjoy but it definitely wouldn’t work for my outfit.

So, my attempt to fix things failed again but at least I can now use the fabrics as wall decoration – maybe an inspiration for a next project…
